Residential IPs
The Residential IPs App lets you route requests through a residential network before hitting the origin server.
Background
Section titled “Background”Webfuse aims to operate as transparently as possible, sitting between the host browser and the origin server to handle requests on behalf of the user. Despite this, two critical changes occur that might alter the perceived identity of the requestor: the IP address and the Transport Layer Security (TLS) fingerprint. Webfuse will adjust the TLS fingerprint to closely resemble that of the original requesting browser. The IP address of the requestor, however, changes to a Webfuse host IP. This shift in IP address may raise concerns if origin servers (or WAFs) are specifically monitoring for this. Residential IPs help mitigating this problem.
