Quickstart
Do you want to get started with Webfuse right away? Follow this step-by-step guide to create your first Webfuse Space, start your first Webfuse Session, and customize the experience with a Webfuse App or an individual Extension.
Your First Session
Section titled “Your First Session”Start by accessing Webfuse Studio, Webfuse’s tangible web interface.
-
Create a Space
Section titled “Create a Space”Once you signed in, create any type of Space, which is a specific configuration of Webfuse as a web proxy. Declare a unique URL by providing a Space Slug (the last part of the URL), choose who can access or edit your Space.
-
Start a Session
Section titled “Start a Session”Having created a Space, start your first Session, which is a single web browsing instance of your web proxy configuration. Depending on your chosen Space Type, a new Session is created for each user opening the Space URL.
-
Customize the Session
Section titled “Customize the Session”When you started a Session, you as an administrator will be provided with options to configure the Session. Navigate the Session Editor in the top navigation, which grants access to Settings, Apps, and Extensions. For example: Hide the virtual Tab Bar or configure a start page (Settings), install a Session Recorder App, or deploy a custom voice agent (Extension).
-
Define a Landing Page (optional)
Section titled “Define a Landing Page (optional)”You can define a custom Landing Page for your Space. Whenever a user wants to start or join a Session vis the Space URL, they will land at this page instead of the actual Session. From the Landing Page, you can decide whether and when to admit users. For instance: only admit a user if they provide billing information.
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Webfuse’s Studio application is an excellent tool for creating sessions. However, Webfuse seamlessly integrates with your ecosystem. You can integrate Webfuse in different ways:
- REST API – Create and manipulate Spaces and Sessions with HTTP requests.
- Widget – Initialize a Session from within a web page on demand.
- Magic Links – Invite individual users with custom Session appearance.
- Webhooks – Listen to Space and Session events from anywhere.
